Halloween Cutie

Such a cute little girl....but maybe I am a little biased! :)

This is her princess costume...although we all know she doesn't need
the costume to be a princess!

She has discovered how to walk with her step n' ride! :)

Fun Times

Can you guess where we went today???

To the PARK!!!!!

This was Madeline's first time and she seemed to really like the swings.

I was worried because she has THREE teeth coming in and she only took
one 10 minute nap.

Mike met up with us after he got off of work.

She even liked the slide, but she really was only interested in the three little boys who where also playing!

I don't know what we are going to to do with this little girl! ha!

Sweet Moments

With all of the craziness in the upcoming weeks it has been nice to hang out with my sweet baby girl. She has been clingy and cuddly and I can't lie...I have really enjoyed it. She hasn't been herself lately, but I am pretty sure those darn pearly whites are to blame. It looks like she is getting her first top tooth!

So what's been going on at our house? Preparing for the biggest 1st birthday bash... which will be here in a few short weeks! OMG!!!! Mike and I got the bright idea to repaint/redecorate the living room....crazy I know! If you have ever been to our house you know our living room consists of A LOT of wood paneling..blah so we have been priming, painting, repainting, painting, and painting!

On top of all of that, Madeline is scheduled for surgery Monday for her blocked tear duct. This is definitely something we hoped would work itself out, but it hasn't therefore we have to get her in before her 1st birthday... Apparently the surgery is more successful on patients under the age of 1. Not only does the surgery involved anesthesia, but it is at 6:30 a.m. and she cannot eat or drink anything after midnight. Needless to say this will be a very difficult morning. The surgery itself doesn't take very long at all, but it still scares me! Prayers are very much appreciated!

Pumkin Patch + Caramel Apples = Fall

We had a few visitors this weekend. My sister, her husband, and our niece came to visit alllll the way from the LBK. While they were out car shopping, we snatched Megan and headed to DRI annual pumpkin patch. Not only do they have lots of pumpkins, put it is an annual fundraiser...so the proceeds go to a good cause! We had a good time, but it is hard to believe that it is even time for pumpkins...

Megan was excited to the leave the parentals behind...can't you tell?

Don't worry folks....she was only acting... this was her idea of posing!

We thought it would be easiest to pull them around in Madeline's wagon...also helped carry our pumpkins around!

We couldn't keep her sippy cup out her mouth, but finally you can see
her pretty little face!

BCF (Best Cousins Foeva)

Posing again.....(I think the legs on this thing are a little creepy though!)

We also went on a hay ride....The girls both loved it!! Looks at Madeline's arm on Megan... too sweet.

After we had dinner we made some delicious caramel apples!!!! Yes.. my crazy sister was trying to get an action shot...she thought it was appropriate to stand on the counter! Let me remind you, she is 5'10 and I am 5'3....not so sure why she need stand up there, but whateva! :)

Eating the leftover caramel.

The finished product!!!

11 Months

Can you believe this little cutie is ELEVEN, I said ELEVEN months old??!!?? Me either! It seems like we just brought her home. Sometimes I look at her and can't believe how much she has changed in 11 short months. When I am feeding her and rocking her to sleep her body stretches all the way across mine and hangs off a little. Last winter all of her shoes were TOO big, this year she not only refuses to wear them, but only has one pair that fits. She prefers to feed herself and lets you know if you are not doing something that she wants! She has a mind of her own and loves to "fake" cry, but magically stops when she gets what she wants!

She loves everything from cell phones to laptops. If she isn't finished playing and you try to scoop her up...she will crawl as fast as she can to get away from you...she hats getting dressed...loves to play in the bath tub....even likes to drink the bath water! ha! (dont' worry we stop her when she does this!!!)

Her face lights up when her daddy comes home! For some reason she loves the dogs, especially Addie. She has started dancing and claps her hands when a commercial comes on with music in the background.

She has us both wrapped around her sweet little finger and I am ok with that. I can't imagine anything better than this little sweet pea! I can't imagine life without her!

P.S. She has a new tooth! It is peaking out next to her left bottom tooth!
