I Love Balloons
It is funny how kids remember things. This is Madeline's 3rd balloon from Red Robin. As soon as we entered the restaurant she was eyeing the balloons. It amazes me that she was able to remember what a balloon was and that she wanted one! ha!

Family Weekend
We had a few visitors out our house this weekend. Mike's parents drove down Friday night and stayed with us until Sunday. On Saturday, Mike's grandparents drove down and spent the day with us. Then Monday, my sister and her husband drove up and spent the day with us. Needless to say she received lots of love and attention! We didn't take very many pictures this weekend, but here are a few.
Grandpa was definitely the favorite this weekend. He just wanted to brush his teeth, but she did not let him go alone.
She waited on the bathroom floor while he got ready for church. I could just eat her up in this adorable outfit!
Sunday Mike and I worked the nursery during the church service and watched Madeline's class. It was the first time for us to have her age group. I didn't know how should would do with us in there, but she did really well. One of the little girls was crying and while Mike held her and comforted her, Madeline walked up and started patting her on the back. Such a little sweetie. Towards the end of session she decided she didn't like me rocking another baby to sleep, but she did come over and pat his little legs....I think she might be a pretty good big sister some day (but not any time soon! ) :)

She even shares with the cat, but apparently the cat was not interested in drinking the milk!

Who is this child?
Yesterday I walked into Madeline's room after she woke up from her nap. Not only did I find this little cutie waiting for me, but I also found these in her bed.
Maybe it looks normal to you, but she doesn't normally sleep with her dirty clothes.
If you couldn't tell by her smile, she was very proud of herself.
Her basket has always been next to her crib, but she discovered
she can remove the top and pull out the clothes.
She also decided that she didn't need us to cut up or remove the skin from her apple. She is perfectly capable of eating it on her own.
Just thought I would brag on the hubby. He brought me lunch and
some Azaleas. Flowers that I can enjoy ALL year long! :)

"C" is for Cookie that's good enough for me
Guess what my mommy left out?
I love cookies!!!!
How can I get into these things?
So many choices....
Maybe I will just try one...
I will cover up the evidence....
She will never know...
one more won't hurt
I think she is coming...I am going to put this one back!
It's just a little soggy.
Just in the nick of time....she will never guess.
Daddy may I have a cookie? I haven't had any today!!!

Reclinin'
Since Madeline likes to watch the t.v. standing next to the entertainment center, Mike and I let her pick out this new recliner. Mike is pretty jealous because he really wants a recliner, but I also always say no....Good think the weight limit is 75lbs or Madeline might lose her chair!
The only disappointing part was that Madeline has to use this as a cup holder instead of an ashtray....Look closely.. it says NOT AN ASTRAY...very appropriate for a toddlers chair! ha!
