Although you cannot tell by these pictures, this sweet girl has croup. This is the first time with this and we are definitely ready for it to GO AWAY!!! Poor thing can't sleep and is extremely clingy. She was up most of the night screaming meaning we also were up most of the night. I am very thankful for a husband who believes in helping out with Madeline. We both spent most of our night trying to comfort her and even let her sleep with us!
Thankfully Mike hung out with her for a few hours this morning so I could get a little sleep. We took her to the pediatrician's office just to make sure it wasn't anything else. Hopefully our little sweetie will be her old self again soon. One of the worst feelings as a parent is when you try everything you can think of and nothing seems to work.
We are ready to see this sweet smile again!!!
I am so sorry to hear that she is not feeling good! She looks like she is happy at least! Hope you guys get some rest and her to feeling better fast!
